Situated at 1037 Randolph St, this inviting establishment is not just a place to grab a bite; it’s an experience that combines great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service.
As a food reviewer, I was eager to explore what makes Sixty Six Grill & Tap House stand out in the bustling local dining scene. The moment I entered, the aroma of grilled specialties and the lively ambiance hinted at the exciting dishes that awaited. The menu is crafted with care, spotlighting a variety of flatbreads, sandwiches, and an enticing selection of desserts.
Among the highlights, the BBQ Chicken Flatbread caught my attention. This crispy delight features tender grilled chicken smothered in a savory BBQ sauce, paired with mozzarella, smoked gouda, and a sprinkle of cilantro — a perfect balance of flavors for just $14.99. Equally impressive is the BBQ Brisket Flatbread, a generous offering that showcases 12-hour slow-cooked certified Angus beef brisket and is sure to satisfy even the most discerning meat lovers.
But this restaurant isn’t just about flatbreads. The sandwich selection is outstanding, with options like the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich delivering just the right amount of kick, and the SixtySix Club presenting a hearty combination of honey maple turkey, smoked ham, and cheesy goodness for $15.49. Customers rave about the quality; one reviewer described their Nashville hot fries and Buffalo shrimp as “amazing,” underscoring the robust flavors and fresh ingredients that define this place.
And who can resist the dessert menu? The New York Style Cheesecake ($9.49) is a must — creamy and indulgent, with the option to add strawberries for that extra touch of sweetness. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet, paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, is another standout that promises to end your meal on a high note as it arrives warm and drizzled with chocolate syrup.
Not only is the food here extraordinary, but the service has also consistently impressed guests. Patrons speak highly of the attentive and friendly staff who enhance the dining experience, making you feel right at home. Great service and food. I didn't get the salad bar but it also looked amazing. My sandwich definitely had some kick and was delicious.
Love restaurant, my first time here. The food was great. Service was great. May have to come back for date night since there's an awesome bar and I see a great selection of drinks. Our server was Hailey. Thank you so much. You're so sweet and polite. Will definitely come again. We ordered Buffalo shrimp and the Nashville hot fries
Stopping in today to grab a quick lunch. I honestly was just starving and didn’t think much would come of the place as most bar and grills can be. My daughter and I got seated pretty quickly. We were in a hurry so we ordered our drinks and our food at the same time. I opted for the salad bar and a baked potato and my daughter opted for the 66 brisket sandwich and a Caesar salad. I would show you a picture of my salad bar salad, but I am a certified big back and it was finished by the time I realized what i had done. aAll in all 10 out of 10 on food and service. If I’m ever this way, I will definitely be back.
Delicious! Everything was great! Take cash...I must warn you that there is a 2.75% charge if you use a credit card. The waitress even said using my debit card I would be charged the 2.75%. I didn't get a picture but the classic nachos on the appetizers menu is massive. You could make a meal just from that. And they were wonderfully delicious!
Oh my goodness can't say enough about it. It was delicious. Had the New York strip It was delicious. Very tender. Didn't eat no steak sauce cuz you got to put steak sauce on it. It ain't worth eating. Add a little salt lightly and ate away. Very delicious steak with the steamed vegetables. They was even very good. First time eating here and I will be back. Bartender was great. She was my waitress. Also I left her a 20 tip. There was two of us. That's how good it was. Service and food was exceptional. What do I know? I'm just a local truck driver.
Some thick and messy nachos from 66 Grill. We had visited the Winston-Salem location before. Takeout from Thomasville. Still good quality and tasty. Eat them fast because there's so many toppings. Recommend a spoon and even a few extra chips to enjoy all the layers. We'll be getting these again during football season.
The food and service were terrific! Highly recommend.
Brittany was our server and she was fabulous. Super helpful and great customer service. This was our first visit. All the staff wore masks and sanitized everything. There was one blonde bartender who did not wear a mask right. It is not a chin strap nor should it be worn like one. The food was great. Salmon was cooked perfectly and the egg rolls were amazing. My husband's wings were slightly over cooked but nothing too awful. All the sauces were so yummy. We will be back for sure. The price was in line for the area. Not too expensive.
